Bryan Furst is the Co-President of TV and Film at Skybound Entertainment, a title he shares with brother Sean Furst. At Skybound, Bryan has leveraged the company’s vast library of IP to build a robust slate of film and television projects. He and his brother collaborate with the company’s creators to extend their properties into content. They also manage Skybound’s first look deal and relationship with Universal Pictures for film and Amazon for television. The brother duo serve as Executive Producers on the docu-series for AMC Robert Kirkman’s Secret History of Comics and the upcoming feature film adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s second-longest running comic series, Invincible, for Universal. Also in the development pipeline is The Mastermind for FX.Prior to their tenure at Skybound, the brothers were principals behind the film and TV production banner Furst Films. At Furst Films, they produced multiple acclaimed feature films, including The Matador, a comedic thriller that earned Pierce Brosnan a Golden Globe nomination for best actor, and Lionsgate vampire film Daybreakers, starring Ethan Hawke and Willem Dafoe. Additional films produced under Furst Films include Sony Pictures Classics release Owning Mahowny, starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Toronto Film Festival selection The Girl in the Park, with Sigourney Weaver and Kate Bosworth.The Fursts previously lead production at Overture Films, where they acquired and oversaw films such as The Visitor, Righteous Kill, Traitor, The Crazies, Law Abiding Citizen, and The Cooler, for which Alec Baldwin received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor. They currently serve as producers behind the Showtime series Dice, a comedy starring Andrew Dice Clay which they sold straight-to-series under the company’s deal at 20th Century Fox Television. They also executive produced CW’s network’s 2014 sci-fi series, Star Crossed.
