Amy Rose Marsh is the Literary Director of Samuel French, where her responsibilities include overseeing acquisitions and licensing strategy for plays and musicals, as well as management of the day-to-day operations of the literary department. While at Samuel French, Amy Rose has helped lead their fantastic acquisitions team in shepherding approximately 1000 new works into the Samuel French catalogue, including titles by Will Eno, Sarah Ruhl, Caryl Churchill, Agatha Christie, Dominique Morisseau, Annie Baker, Dave Malloy, August Wilson, Lisa Kron, and Jeanine Tesori, among other brilliant writers. Additionally, Amy Rose is a passionate advocate for diverse storytelling and emerging voices, and has worked in collaboration with Abbie Van Nostrand and the Samuel French marketing team to form important partnerships between Samuel French and the Kilroys, the National New Play Network, New Black Fest, the Kendeda Playwrighting Award, and The Princess Grace Award. She is a proud member of the Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas.
