Keith Maitland has made three feature documentaries in the last ten years -- TOWER, an animated doc about a mass shooting in Austin, TX in 1966; A Song For You: The Austin City Limits Story, a music doc featuring Willie Nelson, Beck, and dozens of other musicians who have graced the ACL stage; and the Emmy-nominated The Eyes of Me, a year in the life of four blind teens.
TOWER, garnered over a dozen film festival awards, was nominated for a PGA Award, and won the Critics Choice Award for Most Innovative Documentary in 2016. The film maintains a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Maitland is currently in-production on The Untitled Michael Brody Jr. Documentary, about a 21-yr old hippie millionaire who inherited $25 Million and attempted to give it all away (with disastrous results). In addition to his work in documentaries, Keith Maitland is currently writing-to-direct a feature for Killer Content, and developing two other narrative features.
