The road from script to podcast is an exciting one, but the journey doesn’t end there. Creating a podcast is only the first step on the road to the screen for these writers who are living evidence of the career opportunities in the emerging world of fiction podcasts.
 

This workshop will focus on the nuts and bolts of developing a podcast, from the starting point of an idea, to a script, to a finished produced project.

A series of successful podcasters will share their journey into this medium and offer advice on how to harness the power of podcasting to make a living through your storytelling. Addressing the unique financial opportunity within this industry, these panelists will dive into the finacial nuts bolts of starting and selling your podcast.

This roundtable session offers registrants exclusive access to writers, directors, and producers in an informal setting. Come prepared with questions that focus on the importance of both the creative and business sides of breaking into and writing narrative fiction podcasts.

*This Roundtable requires advance registration at the Roundtable Sign-up Table in the Driskill Mezzanine; the Roundtable takes place at St. David's Episcopal Church's Crail Hall, located at 301 E 8th Street.
