Known as “the Henry Ford of the fitness industry,” Augie was the first person to popularize the LifeCycle in gyms across the States. At the age of 47, Augie and his wife Lynne seemed to have it all, but their lives were turned upside down by the news of Augie’s Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) diagnosis. And yet, ALS is what saved Augie’s life, as he learned to channel his will to live and his drive for success into doing everything he can to find a cure .
