Confessions of a Serial Killer is the thinly veiled account of the chilling life and crimes of the notorious Henry Lee Lucas, whose reign of terror came to an end on July 11th,1983. After a grizzly discovery in the trunk of his stolen car and subsequent arrest, Daniel Ray Hawkins begins confessing to a long list of murders that he and his sidekick Moon Lewton committed as they crisscrossed America’s interstates. Told in flashback, Hawkins recounts in disturbing detail the killings of over 200 women as he calmly shares his stories with a wise old sheriff who cannot believe what he’s hearing.
